New event!

An Evening with Lúnasa and the Brain
Date: Tuesday, June 19, 2012
Time: 20:00
Location: National Concert Hall
Price: $35 USD per ticket

Join the RTÉ Concert Orchestra for an evening of mind blowing discussion and a full concert performance with Irish traditional phenomenon Lúnasa. Lúnasa has become one of the most sought-after bands on the international Celtic music scene. Music and the brain is an area of endless fascination - what governs hearing, learning, playing.

To mark the 16th International Congress of Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders in Dublin, you are invited on an exploration of music and movement with Professor Steven Frucht as he focuses on the science of learning music and the effect this has on the brain. The performance will be held at the National Concert Hall in Dublin rated by performing artists as one of the finest concert venues in Europe.

Tickets can be purchased for $35.00 USD during the Congress registration process. If you are already registered for Congress, use your registration ID number found on your confirmation to log back in to your record and purchase the tickets.
